My First Pair of Louboutins
Why it’s taken me so long to buy these I truly don’t know but I’m so excited to start my designer shoe collection with shoes I’ve been lusting after for years…Christian Louboutin’s. They are beautiful, perfect, and an early birthday present to myself (although my birthday isn’t until October 30th). I bought them on a whim with my friend one night before dinner, but I knew I had to buy them right then and there since finding Louboutin’s in the store in your size can be difficult to do. I’ve tried 3 or 4 times before and every time there were no size 9’s available. Lucky for me, there was this time!
I knew I wanted Louboutin’s that were different than what I’ve ever seen anyone in person wear before, so I opted for boots. Plus I wouldn’t be myself if I tried to start walking around with 9 inch heels, when I literally wear boots, booties, or sneakers all day every day. I also wanted a shoe that I could wear to work. I’m there 5 days out of the week for 8-10 hours a day, so I better be able to wear whatever I buy to work, which means it needs to be stylish (obvi), an easy color for any part of the year, durable, and of course comfortable. These are 3 inch heels, which is a little out of my comfort zone, but the platform helps! I’m also not saving them for “special occasions”. These are expensive shoes and I’m wearing them, although it will be a sad day when the red starts to come off, but it’s going to happen, and so I’m going to wear the shoes. There’s no point in buying anything, whether it’s $5 or $500, and not use it for it’s purpose, so don’t be surprised if you see these in lots of different blog posts.
In case you want to check out these shoes they are ‘Adox’ Block Heel Bootie. I haven’t worn them out yet, but maybe I’ll write a review after I’ve worn them a few times? Let me know in the comments!
