Blaqhaus Restaurant Review

Straight Outta Noho

If any of you guys live in LA or visit. Please, please, please go eat at Blaqhaus. The food is to die for! The name seemed weird to me because it’s “Black House” but spelled Blaqhaus, but as I started to read the menu I knew I had to go there. I got “Straight Outta Noho”, which is made up of waffle fries and nacho toppings including cheese, pico de gallo, guacamole, jalapeños, sour cream, and chipotle sauce. As soon as I took my first bite I was in heaven. There’s definitely tons of calories, but well worth it. This is a “fat girls dream” I call it, which is the term I normally use to describe food I eat that I have to try but I know is unhealthy. I never usually get desert when I go out to dinner, but I just had to because I knew I’d be missing out if I didn’t. So my family and I shared “the Mistress”, which is when the chef gets to pick the desert and it’s a surprise to the people eating it; they have this option for entrées as well. The desert platter included multiple deserts such as the Oreo Sushi Roll, Strawberry ice cream Sushi Roll, and taco shaped cinnamon dough stuffed with vanilla ice cream.

So yea I ate a ton but it was so good! I loved the ambience with the walls covered in Los Angeles/ Hollywood celebrities and landmarks, along with the upbeat music they played. Mostly hip hop and pop songs, so I pretty much sang to the words half the time and the other half I was stuffing my face, so I had a good time. There’s lots of food to share, so I think this would be perfect for date nights or a girls night. They don’t serve alcohol so be mindful of that! Definitely going back the next time I’m in the LA area!
