It’s well before Spring but as I was cleaning my room I thought I might as well clean out my closet too right? Plus I went shopping earlier this week so I need to make room for the new, and get rid of some of the old. After two hours of reorganizing and throwing away several distressed (that didn’t start that way) band tees, t shirts, and sweaters, I was able to hang up my new clothes, including my new workout outfits (that I probably won’t wear for working out).
One of my finds that debated throwing away was this sweater I bought from H&M either a year or two ago and I only wore it twice. As cute as it is, it’s awkwardly shaped and falls off your shoulders a lot. Sometimes this bothers me, sometimes it doesn’t, but it’s so cute and has all of the qualities of a perfect sweater: it’s two different shades of neutrals, it has leather on the arms, there’s a cool zipper detail, and its warm. Needless to say, I’m keeping it, but I said I would only keep it if I decided to wear it the following day, which I did!
If you haven’t already clear out a few old pieces to make room for the new, or just narrow down your option. Throw out the things that you’ve worn a ton, that are been there done that’s, that no longer go with you style, or that don’t fit. It makes it easier to pick out outfits in the morning and it gives you more room to add in some newer pieces.
