Tips to Protect the Purse

I’ve had several people on the train comment about how well I protect my purses on the train, so I figured I would share my little trick.

Now carrying a bag on the train that doesn’t have a shoulder strap can be tough. Most of the time its difficult to find a seat, and 45 minutes is a long time to hold a purse, so a few months back I thought why not put my bag in the cheaper bag so the more expensive bag never has to touch the floor and I don’t have to hold it. It’s kinda confusing, yet pretty simple.

Step 1: Get a cheaper reusable or tote bag.

Step 2: Put your more expensive bag in the cheaper bag.

And wa-la! The purse you care about more doesn’t need to be held and it’s not on the dirty floor. I usually do this with all bags that I don’t want to get dirty and it’s an easy trick. I know some people think it’s a bit much, but hey anything we can do to protect our handbags right?
