Motivation Monday #30
I had a moment today. A moment of clarity.
I worked 8-5, as most people do, and I felt relaxed. Yes relaxed at work. It’s a thing apparently. I’m usually stressed at work because I want everything to be perfect, but done quickly. Today I look my time, triple checked my work, and I actually didn’t finish all my work today, I got a big chunk done, but not all of it. Normally I’d be freaking the f**k out like I’m a failure because I didn’t finish everything today, but I’m actually ok with it. I honestly felt like I should give myself a break, and not stress so much. I put a lot of pressure on myself so it’s nice to kinda exhale for a second.
For the few family members and friends that read my blog, please shut up. I know what you’re gonna say: “I’ve been telling you forever to not put so much pressure on yourself.”
Me: I know, so chill.
Any who, with my now found way to not get so stressed out, I actually had a somewhat good day today. Besides the lack of sleep anyway.
But I at least got through step one of not feeling so anxious all the time: don’t sweat the small stuff.
